Lucerne
The fog has lifted and we pull our kayaks towards Lake Zug. We paddle off in the sunshine. The lake is as smooth as glass and we make good progress. We reach our destination shortly after sunset. Before we pitch our tent, we take a dip in the cold water. In the semi-darkness, we cook another noodle soup on Hobo and Hermine. We eat with wooden chopsticks; we have forgotten our cutlery at home. We're camping here right next to a landmark that belongs to the canton of Lucerne. Exhausted, we lie down in the tent and fall asleep. Gunshots echo through the fog and wake us from our sleep. Hunters are out and about here early in the morning. We fly another round with the drone, print out a “souvenir photo” with the thermal printer and then it's off through the fog, past the weeping Madonna towards the train.
On my camping trips, I have deliberately refrained from giving exact locations. Naturally, consideration was given to animals, people and nature. Nature reserves and wildlife rest areas were avoided.
